One of the things they did on that Impeachment Discussion is they lied to their contributors with this notion that it is Senate Procedure to immediately take up a bill of impeachment from the House Of Representatives and the senate can do no other business. The House Of Representatives sent over the impeachment of a federal judge in 1988 in august. The senate didnt take up the trial until 14 months later.
