EKOS Steel Mill- a Korean Investment Company has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Adama Science and Technology University /ASTU/ to work together in a center of excellence.
The MOU made EKOS the first company to work with ASTU on the center of excellence, with the purpose of developing industrial inputs from local materials, saving hard currency by replacing import and earning hard currency from export.
Shell H. Choo said, CEO of EKOS sauid that his company proposed five sectors to work on in its center of excellence which includes: transportation and vehicle engineering , advancement of manufacturing engineering advancement of materials science and engineering, advancement of electrical system and electronics, and institute of pharmaceutical science.
