Residents and staff living in some of Mississippi s long-term care facilities will be able to receive COVID-19 vaccinations as soon as next week.
CVS Health announced Monday that residents and staff at 211 facilities in Mississippi, and thousands more in facilities across 35 other states, will begin receiving vaccinations on Dec. 28. I m grateful for the herculean efforts of everyone involved, including our health care professionals who will be deployed throughout the country to bring peace of mind to long-term care facility staff, residents and their loved ones, Larry Merlo, president and chief executive officer of CVS Health, said in a statement.
