Cooper called to U20 Camp

PULLMAN, Wash. - After completing a historic inaugural campaign at Washington State, freshman Nadia Cooper will have a chance to show off her talents among the best the U.S. has to offer as the young keeper was called into training camp with the U.S. Under-20 Women's National Team. Cooper was one of 24 players to be called into the camp which runs Dec. 7-14 at the Elite Athlete Training Center in Chula Vista, Calif. The U-20 team is gearing up for the Concacaf U-20 Championships which will take place early in 2022 in the Dominican Republic.

Five Cougs Earn All-Region Honors

Kansas City, MO - A program record five Cougars were named to the 2021 United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division I Women's All-Pacific Region Team as announced by the organization Monday afternoon. Elyse Bennett, Nadia Cooper, and Mykiaa Minniss each took home first team honors while Sydney Pulver and Sydney Studer were named to the season team. The five honorees tied for the most in the Pac-12 region alongside of UCLA as both teams put three on the first team and two on the second team.

Two take home weekly honors

SAN FRANCISCO – For the first time since the 2018 season the Cougars nabbed two Pac-12 weekly awards as freshman Nadia Cooper was named Goalkeeper of the Week while fifth-year Sydney Pulver took home Defensive Player of the Week as announced by the conference office Monday afternoon. The pair of first-time winners were the first duo of WSU honorees since Morgan Weaver (Offensive) and Rachel Johnson (Goalkeeper) earned two of the three weekly awards on Oct. 30, 2018.
