JAMMU, Apr 10: From resolution demanding defining of protocol for the Councillors of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) to discussion on opening of meat shops, even for few hours, during Navratras as the holy month of Ramzan is also coming simultaneously with the nine holy days of Hindus, remained the business during the General House Meeting (GHM) of JMC today.
Rajinder Sharma, JMC Councillor of Ward 16 introduced the resolution demanding defining of protocol for JMC Councillors, provision of security to them and hiking their allowances and it was passed by the House after all the members supported it.

JAMMU, Dec 27: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Councillor, Gurmeet Kour Randhawa of Ward No. 69, Sainik Colony has adopted a systematic approach for development of her Ward and she got implemented essential works which were completely ignored earlier for years.
Randhawa today inaugurated the construction work of drains and culvert in Sainik Colony worth Rs. 5 lakh.
A handout stated that the area was getting waterlogged during monsoon season and water used to enter residential houses for the last 20 years and now with the construction of culvert locals there will heave a sigh of relief.
