Former MCD councillor Tahir Hussain has been granted bail by a Delhi court in a case related to the North East Delhi riots. The court cited changed circumstances and the fact that the incident in question occurred in close proximity to two other incidents where the accused had been granted bail by the Delhi High Court. The court also noted that many of the witnesses are common in all three cases, and the High Court had already granted bail in two of them. The bail plea was opposed by the special public prosecutor.
The 18-year-old Burton resident was taken to the Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, where he remained in stable condition, according to the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office.
