Now, it was eight years ago when the case was closed for nearly eight years until a new witness came forward this year and police were able to arrest Jose Rodriguez cruz. Multiple sources tell news4 that cruz led police here to stafford county, virginia, along this stretch of i95 where he says he buried the young womans body. I spoke with police chief Peter Newsham today. While he would not comment on the specifics of the search, heres what he had to say about the importance of finding butlers body.
