2 killed in wrong-way crash on Dale Mabry

TAMPA, Fla. â Two women were killed early Tuesday morning after a wrong-way crash on Dale Mabry Highway, according to FHP.
The crash happened south of Gunn Highway just after 3 a.m. Troopers say the drivers, 24 and 23 years old, both died at the scene.
FHP says both women, who were from Tampa, had seat belts on at the time.
According to an accident report, the 24-year-old woman was driving southbound in the northbound lanes when she hit the 23-year-old woman s vehicle head-on.
The report says it s unknown why she was driving the wrong way or where she started.

TAMPA, Fla. - Two armed robberies occurred less than an hour apart in Hillsborough County, and deputies say they believe both cases are related.
The first occurred around 2 a.m. Monday at the Thornton’s, located at Gunn Highway and West Linebaugh Avenue. Around 2:45 a.m., another armed robbery occurred at 7-Eleven at Gunn Highway and Henderson Road.
Detectives said they are working to identify a suspect, and no suspect description has been released.

Boil-water notice rescinded for northwest Hillsborough County

TAMPA, Fla. - A precautionary boil water notice has been lifted for residents in northwest Hillsborough County.
The notice was put in place on Tuesday, Dec. 15 after a contractor damaged a line near the intersection of Citrus Park Drive and Sheldon Road.
County officials lifted the boil water notice Thursday morning after bacteriological sampling showed the water meets quality standards.
The boundary of the impacted area was west of Veterans Expressway to Ehrlich Road and west of Gunn Highway to Racetrack Road all the way to the Pinellas County line.
