drives me crazy is the idea that if you want to reduce gun violence, you are anti-gun. it s not true. that s number one. i am not anti-gun. i respect gun owners. i have gun owners in my family. i want to reduce gun violence. i hate gun violence. the other one that drives me x- crazy because it s personal when it comes to schools. after sandy hook, the nra said for the first time this is not like it s been a part of our history. the only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun with a good guy with a gun. they said that after sandy hook, about four or five days after. they turned sandy hook into a gun sales bonanza. that s what they did. because my daughter was killed five years later in a school from an ar-15, again, it really upsets me. we put all the facts there. everything is well researched
after parkland, but wants you to forget it. there s about 115,000 schools in america. since columbine, there have been fewer than 400 school shootings, so the whole notion that the only way to deal with gun violence in america is by arming more people in schools, because he wants to arm teachers also, it s bunk. it s nonsense, it s ridiculous. and in fact, my daughter got killed in something that is extremely, extremely, extremely rare. if you add all the guns to schools by arming teachers, you re just going to make gun violence in schools more likely. it s listen, let s never forget after sandy hook, people like rick scott, the nra, their response immediately after sandy hook, wayne lapierre, for the first time, the only thing that stopped a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun. their response to sandy hook was a gun sales bonanza.
