destruction of evidence, and it doesn t absolve trump of the idea that he willfully retained the documents. he knew he had them in 2022, when he turned stuff over to the archives. they told him, hey, there s classified documents in this stuff. they knew he had them over the course of the next year, talking to his lawyers telling him, turn them over. and the fbi kept funding stuff in what you are turning over. it will ultimately not change anything, but quite possibly with the way judge cannon handles things, it could drag it out just a little bit more. just a little bit more. we are now at the first anniversary of the mar-a-lago case, the grand jury and bob dikeman came down on june 8th, 2023. anyone s guess if we get to the second anniversary. bradley moss, thank you, sir, for your time tonight. have a good night. that is our show for this evening. now, it is time for the last word , with jonathan k part. lawrence o donnell come in for jonathan. i would love to see
the media respecting a routine hearing in delaware that the judge would simply bless hunter biden s sweetheart plea deal that spared him any jail time on two tax charges but it was the other charge pleading guilty to lying about illegal drug use on a gun purchase form which would later be expunged from his record that caused the deal to fall apart prompting the president s son to plead not guilty in the overall case. media conservatives seem pretty happy, ben, that hunter s plea deal fell apart and i think many media liberals aren t that comfortable defending it either. i don t think they are comfortable defending it in part because it seems clear that there were sort of underhanded moves going on here on the part of the doj, that they didn t necessarily want to put in this agreement. it was very odd that this agreement was not given to the press before the actual hear ing, because if they had had it, i think that they would have analyzed it to a degree that would have made it far
will you pause it real quick? (mumbles) just sold the car to carvana. what? all i had to do was answer a couple questions and got a real offer in seconds. then, they just picked up the car and paid me right on the spot. sell your car at carvana dot com today. howard: it was absolutely inevitable that once hunter biden was charged with a crime, there would be a furious media debate with over how he was treated. the president s son got off with no jail time, his plea bargain calls for only probation, the right would be outraged. hunter biden did get off rather easy after a 5-year investigation, he has pleaded guilty to two misdemeanor charges of filing taxes late and one charge of lying on a gun purchase form about not using drugs that won t actually be prosecuted when he was a crack
have spun out from the larger influencing peddling store eave that we won t see now. this is a long time for two also misdemeanors and no jail time. dana: guy benson said that twitter democrats loudly proclaim their passionate commitment to gun safety and tax fairness and after an investigation that dragged on for years the biden d.o.j. handed a no-jail deal to a repeat tax cheat who also lied on a gun purchase form whose last name is biden. president trump s old cfo at the trump organization was sent to ryker s island because he didn t report taxes on a company car and trump gave free tuition to his kids. that kind of stuff and sent to ryker s island. a terrible place in new york city. the amount of incredible punitive response toward one side but then the other side seems to have one escape after
show what it is. who are these family members? are these kids that are on tax filings? we don t know. kevin: but we do know hunter biden is under federal investigation for possible tax fraud, illegal for lobbying, money laundering and lying about his drug use on a gun purchase form, to be continued. jonathan: thank you, kevin. let s bring in fox news contributor s leslie marshall and jason chaffetz. i often look at these kind of stories and think of the american people think everybody on capitol hill does this kind of stuff. there s always family members grafting of them or famous family members. true or not? no could not to the tune of 30 plus million dollars and it is not often that the son and the vice president, the vice president of the united states engaging is a former fbi
