CINCINNATI (FOX19) - A 14-year-old has been charged with felonious assault after a shooting in the West End Tuesday night sent a 13-year-old to a local hospital.
The shooting occurred sometime around 7:10 p.m. in the 1700 block of Linn Street near the intersection with Livingston Street.
Originally, police said late Tuesday the victim was 12. Court documents obtained later indicate the victim was actually 13.

CINCINNATI (AP) - A shootout involving two boys on a Cincinnati street left one youth hospitalized and the other in custody, authorities said.
The shooting occurred around 7 p.m. Tuesday in the city’s West End section.
Two undercover police officers with the city’s Gun Crimes Task Force happened to be in the area when the gunfire erupted. Authorities said the boys, ages 12 and 14, fired several shots at each other, and the younger boy was taken to a hospital with wounds that were not considered life-threatening.
