they can injury themselves trying to hide, trying to barricade. they can knock a file cabinet on themselves. they can go through broken glass. there s all kinds of ways to get injured when bullets are flying. people are k. suffer seizures, heart attacks. sought fire department, paramedics are check out some citizens here. we don t know if there s any could be bullet wound grazes as well. remember trader joe s is going to be a crime scene. looks like there was a gun battle going on when the guy was in trader joe s. bullets were flying. detectives will have the crime scene processing unit will have to go in there and collect any cartridges, spent rounds. they re going to lock that down. once they sweep it and it s secure it will be a crime scene. that ll take a while. as the newsweek reporter said there was a running crime scene as well with the gun chase and the prior assaults on the family members. crime scene at the other
inside as we now know farook and malik both killed, the windows blown out, riddled with bullet holes. once that was that gun chase was under way, we were then told the bomb squad was called in here to the town home because of concerns it may have been booby trapped, explosives at the initial scene of the shooting at the inland regional center. they sent in robots to try to search out the area. they told residents nearby they should stay indoored. they evacuated many people who lived near that town home. and as of this hour, we believe that no one has actually entered that town home. certainly not yet. that s something which will obviously be happening in the coming hours. one thing they re now looking for, of course, is a motive. they ll be getting into that town home, trying to find any writing, social media footprint, anything on computers, that kind of thing. to that end, also searching
who left the party angry. when they came out here, that is when they saw that suspicious suv driving in a suspicious manner and then gave chase. that s when the shootout occurred a few miles away from here. and, of course, syed farook and his partner, his girlfriend or his wife, were both killed during that shootout. there is a third investigation under way in farook s office, he was a county plea, yy employeed for county for five years. when they get into the townhoe, into the office and the suv, they re looking for any clues as to why they carried out this attack, what was the possible motive at this point. also, anybody else who may have been involved in the planning. on that issue of why, on the motive, the relatives of syed farook said they were stunned, never saw this coming. the brother-in-law actually held a news conference. he told reporters that, like so many other members of the families, they were left stunned by these events.
