Nabesna, Alaska (KINY) - On Sunday, Aug. 20, 2023, Alaska Wildlife Troopers received a request from the National Park Service to assist in a search and rescue operation in the Mentasta Mountains, north of Nabesna, for 26-year-old James Potter of Wasilla.
