Agthia Group Q1 revenues surge 17% to $181m ABU DHABI, 3 hours, 3 minutes ago Agthia Group, a leading regional food and beverages company, has posted total revenues of AED665.5 million ($181 million) for the first quarter (Q1) of the year, resenting 17% growth compared to the same period in 2020. The Group recorded Earnings per Share of AED0.069 per share, marking a 57% year-on-year growth. The Group’s consumer-business recorded AED430.5 million in revenues. The net revenue of the food segment, which includes tomato paste & frozen vegetables, bakery, dairy and trading items, increased by 23.5% on continued at-home consumption trend for tomato paste and frozen vegetables in both the UAE and Egypt and the inclusion of Al Faysal Bakery & Sweets post consolidation. Furthermore, Al Foah contributed AED137 million to the top-line during the 3-month period.

Belarus signs $7m worth of contracts at Gulfood expo in Dubai Photo courtesy of BelInterExpo MINSK, 2 March (BelTA) – Belarusian companies signed contracts worth $7 million at the food expo in Dubai, BelTA learned from the exhibition organization company BelInterExpo of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BelCCI). “A total of 25 Belarusian food manufacturers showcased their products in the national pavilion Belarus. The Taste of Nature at the large international exhibition of food and beverages Gulfood 2021 in Dubai. Domestic manufacturers displayed meat and dairy products, poultry and egg products, groceries and confectionery. Their participation in the expo resulted in contracts worth a total of $7 million. The contracts were signed with partners from the UAE, Bangladesh, Ghana, Egypt, Jordan, Iran, Iraq, Yemen, Lebanon, Libya, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, and Syria,” BelInterExpo informed.
