They will never turn an opportunity to usurp poor minorities’ rights to benefit their corporate greed for their self-interest. The image of progressive India is sabotage underneath Modhi’s fascist regime, where minorities are struggling to breath. The heinous attacks by RSS on minorities become routine, now the government is legislating laws to tighten more minorities. As India is home to 1.4 billion people belong to a variety of ethnicities and religions, but very unfortunate to be from minority to breath in India.
Rajkot: A 37-year-old man from Dhoraji town in Rajkot district was booked under the Gujarat Land Grabbing (Prohibition) Act 2020 for allegedly grabbing land belonging to the local civic body, a few weeks ago.
According to Dhoraji police, Dhoraji municipality s planning officer Shailesh Bhalgamiya lodged a complaint against Salim alias Babar Ismail Matva, a resident of Dhoraji for grabbing municipality s land on Sanghariya Road and illegally constructing five shops on the land. However, before he rented out or sold, it came to the knowledge of the local urban body which lodged the complaint.
“We have lodged a complaint against Matva. As many as 35 criminal cases including murder has been lodged against him till now. He escaped from the town after the latest case was lodged against him,” police said.

Surat: City police registered altogether five offences under the recently introduced Gujarat Land Grabbing (Prohibition) (GLGP) Act on Saturday. Total 14 accused were booked for allegedly encroaching land of different individuals in various police stations. The accused were booked under various sections of Indian Penal Code for forgery, threatening and trespassing.
“Victims of various land grabbing cases had approached the district collector office and after examining their grievances, a committee had ordered police to register these complaints. Afterwards, city police commissioner orders police stations concerned to register FIRs,” said a senior police official.
Investigation of these cases have been handed over to the assistant commissioner of police of different divisions.

VADODARA: Gujarat government will enact law to keep ‘love jihad’ in check. Gujarat chief minister Vijay Rupani announced this while addressing a public gathering in Vadodara on Sunday.
“In the last assembly, we had brought stringent laws. We introduced the Gujarat Control of Organised Crime Act, a stringent law against organized gang so that common citizens are not harassed by ‘gundas’,” he said, adding that under the law, an accused gets ten years imprisonment.
“We introduced the new and stringent act of Gujarat Land Grabbing (Prohibition) Act 2020 in which there is provision of 14 years imprisonment to those who illegal grab somebody’s property.

RAJKOT: In the first case under the newly enacted The Gujarat Land Grabbing (Prohibition) Act 2020 in Jamnagar, police booked 64 persons for allegedly grabbing government land and huts, houses, shops.
They rented out or illegally sold this properties which are worth crores.
According to police, a complaint was lodged with Panchkoshi (B division) police in Jamnagar city under the new act. The government land on survey number 131 and 132 has been grabbed by many people who constructed kuchha, pucca houses, shops and collected rents from the occupants. Some of the shops were sold to individuals too.
