are worried about this because in the typical case in a federal case when somebody maybe doesn t plead guilties, they are required to cooperate and when required to cooperate, the natural question would be asked, who knew what you were doing, why were you doing this? again, hunter biden has a mess of a personal life and the fact that somebody with all of his issues would be getting high-level business opportunities is highly basically not likely, not even possible without his connections. that is why he s given these opportunities and the opportunities are because of who he is, meaning who his dad is. the questions lead right there and i m sure they are worried on top of all the other issues on the disastrous policies they have to defend on the midterms.

mike: ted, already, defense attorneys are talking about appeal. do you see obvious avenues for appeal going forward? well, there may be some avenues for some appeals but when you look at the overall verdicts, it is highly unlikely that they all are going to be overturned. the one with a that was more surprising than any others was that of roddie bryant. i thought that he, if anybody, would have been found not guilty of more of the charges it would have been him. because of his role, his limited role in the filming, and at one stage of trying to block mr. ahmaud arbery s path. there is some things that are going to be appealed and successfully, perhaps, but the majority of these cases of guilties are going to stand. mike: andy, what do you expect on appeal? i think it s going the big
27 possible guilties. they ended up having 23. so it was not one size fits all as you pointed out. the jury had to meticulously go through the three different defendants and the nine different charges and they made different decisions based on what happened. we can tell from this verdict that the jury was very careful to tailor the verdict to the facts itself. just so people understand what happened with the murder charges. so the jury found travis mcmichael guilty of intentional murder, what we call malice murder. he intended to kill ahmaud arbery and he did. the jury found the other two defendants not guilty of intentional murder but felony murder. those two intentionally committed the felony, the chasing him with the truck, false imprisonment and as a result of that, whether they intended it or not, ahmaud arbery was killed and that makes the father and roddy bryan guilty of murder as well.
