A Madison man and a Stoughton man were killed and a Madison man was seriously injured in a pair of motorcycle crashes in Sauk County on Sunday, authorities reported.
According to the Sauk County Sheriffâs Office, first responders found a man dead around 12:15 p.m. after being thrown from his 2007 Yamaha on Highway B near Guhl Road in the town of Troy.
According to the crash report, William E. Jungbluth of Madison was taking a left curve at the crest of a hill while exceeding the speed limit and traveling with a group. While trying to pass another motorcyclist, Jose Ortiz Alvarez of Madison, Jungbluthâs motorcycle hit the left side of Alvarezâs 2019 Kawasaki.
Two killed over weekend in separate motorcycle crashes

Officials with the Sauk County Sheriff’s Office said both crashes happened Sunday afternoon.
Deputies with the sheriff’s office responded to the first crash around 12:15 p.m. on County Road B near the intersection with Guhl Road after receiving a tip that a motorcyclist driving 2007 Yamaha motorcycle was ejected from the bike when the vehicle left the roadway.
Responding deputies said they found the motorcyclist dead from injuries he suffered in the crash.
Authorities closed part of the roadway as they investigated the crash. The Sauk City Fire Department and Plain fire and ambulance responded to the scene.
