Gueydan Mardi Gras Parade & Run Happening This Saturday, Jan. 30

Should you want to partake in a good ole fashioned country Mardi Gras celebration, head down to Vermilion Parish and catch the festivities for the Gueydan Mardi Gras celebration.
On Saturday, January 30, Le Krewe Du Le Originales Et Les Enfants will be holding its annual Mardi Gras Run, a Mardi Gras Parade, and then wrap up the evening with live music on the Duck Festival grounds.
Registration for the run happens from 7:00 am to 8:30 am and that s for all riders, horses, and floats. The run will start at 9:00 am from the Duck Festival grounds and pretty much run through parade time.
