Warmer, the heat wave is prompting the bay area quality district to issue a spare the air alert for tomorrow. Meteorologist darren peck is in the Weather Center and shows us we could be hitting the triple digits this weekend. Thats going to be the highlight of the heat wave. First lets talk about where we are now. These are the current numbers. Were pretty much right on the mark for daytime highs. 91 for inland. Contra costa county, 90. These numbers are close to 10 degrees above where we were yesterday. Today is the day you notice the warmup. Tomorrow is the day you notice the heat wave. Were in the low 90s for inland locations. Look at tomorrow, monday, memorial day. 99. Thats going to bring us right to the verge of 100 degrees for many locations that are inland but tuesday and wednesday are the peak of the heat wave.
