据了解，该项目由广西北部湾国际港务集团有限公司、东风柳州汽车有限公司、中国移动广西公司三家企业强强联合、共同推出，是贯彻落实习近平总书记视察广西时的重要讲话和重要指示精神，加快融入西部陆海新通道，建设“四个一流”北部湾国际门户港的重要举措，标志着北部湾智慧港口的发展又迈出了坚实步伐，助力打造好向海经济。 记者在现场看到，在北部湾港北海港区铁山港区6#泊位现场，一辆搭载了5G+无人集卡系统的东风柳汽大卡车在接收到调度系统的指令后，无需司机驾驶，立即自动行驶，精准到达目标作业区域。在完成集装箱装卸和运输后，自主完成起步转弯、加速减速、停车等动作，作业全过程通过5G网络以视频的形式回传到控制室内，实现集装箱运输无人化、作业流程可视化、港口生产智能化和信息化，为智慧港口建设�
