Dave Cortese, D-San Jose, outlines $10 million to worker support and facility improvements and another $10 million to mental health services, worker training, and retraining. Local leaders said the funding is essential for the VTA to jump-start its recovery process and meet the most pressing needs of employees and their families following such a traumatic event.
