MEXICO CITY, Feb. 8, 2021 /PRNewswire/ Grupo Aeromexico S.A.B. de C.V. ( Aeromexico ) (BMV: AEROMEX) today reported January 2021 operational results.
Grupo Aeromexico transported 1 million 092 thousand passengers in January 2021, a decrease of 2.1% versus December 2020. Passengers carried were at 66.2% of January 2020 levels - domestic at 82.3% and international at 39.0%.
Aeromexico s capacity, measured in Available Seat Kilometers (ASKs) increased by 4.9% compared to December 2020 and was at 61.9% of January 2020.
Demand measured in Revenue Passenger Kilometers (RPKs) decreased by 0.7% compared to December 2020 and was at 48.9% of January 2020.
Aeromexico s January load factor was 65.4%, a decrease of 7.3 p.p. versus December 2020 and a 14.9 p.p. decrease versus January 2020. Domestic load factor was 73.7%, an increase of 0.4 p.p. compared to January 2020.
