New COVID-19 death reported in Livingston County along with 16 new cases, Grundy County reports 5 new COVID-19 cases

COVID-19 cases have increased by five in Grundy County for a total of 777. The health department reports 578 cases have been confirmed and active cases went up by one to 104.
Twenty-three COVID-19-related deaths have been reported for Grundy County.
The Grundy County Health Department encourages residents to “present a unified front” and do what they can “to protect each other.”
The Livingston County Health Center reports another COVID-19-related death, which brings the total to 32.
Sixteen new cases have also been added for a total of 973. Of the 70 active cases, 50 are in the community, 13 are facility actives, and seven are school actives. There are nine current hospitalizations for Livingston County.

The COVID-19 vaccine is being distributed in Missouri. A website specifically about the vaccine in Missouri indicates there are three phases to availability. Phase 1A involves long-term care facility residents and staff and health care workers. Phase 1B involves high-risk individuals who are 18 to 64 years old, individuals who are at least 65, first responders, and essential workers.
Grundy County Health Department Administrator Elizabeth Gibson reports the health department will not be involved in the administration of vaccine doses in Phase 1A. Those doses will be given by other agencies. She believes Phase 1B will begin after the first of the year, possibly in February or March.

9 new cases of COVID-19 reported in Grundy County, 7 in Sullivan County

Grundy County Health Department on Monday reported nine more cases of COVID-19 and five more active cases from the weekend.
As of Monday morning, the health department says Grundy County has had 761 COVID-19 cases year to date. That’s up by nine from Friday’s report. The newest number of active cases is at 100 which is an increase by five when compared to Friday.
Grundy County deaths due to COVID-19 remain at 23.
The public health order is in effect as of last Friday at the direction of the Grundy County Health Department board. Members of the elected board are Doctor Nicole Neal, Korynn Skipper, Philip Ray, Troy Crawford, and Taylor Ormsby.

The Grundy County Health Department reports 11 new COVID-19 cases for a total of 772.
Five hundred seventy-three cases have been confirmed. One hundred three are active. There have been 23 COVID-19-related deaths reported for Grundy County.
The Livingston County Health Center announces three additional COVID-19-related deaths since December 11th, bringing the total to 30.
Eighteen new cases were added for a total of 948. Sixty-five cases are active, with 47 in the community, 11 facility actives, and seven school actives. There are eight current COVID-19-related hospitalizations for Livingston County.
