MORRIS, IL The Morris Police Department announced Saturday night that an officer shot and wounded a dog that attacked a 14-year-old near the intersection of Fremont Avenue and Shabbona Street. The police shooting happened around 5:15 p.m.
Morris police said the 14-year-old boy was bitten by the dog at least three times on his legs and arm. The dog s owner managed to pull the dog away from the victim and maintain the dog on a lease, initially, authorities said.
