Man hurt in Cleveland shooting dies two days later, police say Jane Morice, cleveland.com CLEVELAND, Ohio – A man injured in a Dec. 7 shooting died two days later, and Cleveland homicide detectives are now investigating the case, authorities said Sunday. The shooting happened on the 17200 block of Grovewood Avenue, in the city’s North Collinwood neighborhood, Cleveland police spokeswoman Sgt. Jennifer Ciaccia said. A small group had gathered at a house when shots were fired into the home from outside, Ciaccia said. Two people inside the house were struck by gunfire; a 25-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to his head, and a 23-year-old woman was hit in the leg by a bullet, Ciaccia said. The two were taken to University Hospitals for treatment.
