GroupM Hong Kong has named Kenny Ip head of investment and Fergus Chan e-commerce director.
Newly-minted CEO Caroline Chan made the appointments to strengthen GroupM Hong Kong s digital and technology force.
Ip brings 15 years of industry experience from places like Oracle HK and DaVinci11. His history of sales success with both traditional and new media will help him maximise value for the agency s clients.
Chan, also an industry veteran with APAC experience that includes mainland China, will bring his e-commerce expertise to accelerate business for both the agency and its clients. Mindshare has named Maggie Tong the next managing director of the Hong Kong office, filling the vacancy left by GroupM Hong Kong CEO Caroline Chan.
Tong joins from Wunderman Thompson, where she was managing partner.
In her role as MD, Tong will bring her experience in MarTech, data services capabilities, consumer experience and journey design, data analytics and insights from nearly two decades in the agency world. She will lead an office that had a strong 2020, picking up PepsiCo business and retaining L’Oréal as a client.
Tong will report to Mindshare APAC CEO Amrita Randhawa and GroupM Hong Kong CEO Caroline Chan.
