This happened on 23rd street near 7th avenue. That would be the chelsea neighborhood of manhattan. 29 people were injured, including one seriously, but everybody is expected to survive. Authorities say most of the injuries were scrapes and cuts from glass and other debris. Investigators say theyre not sure if the explosion came from inside a large trash bin or on the street.
