Shelley the owner of the deli says he is stunned by what happened. I was making some sandwiches, and all of a sudden, there was a loud explosion. It seemed like a car came over the median and crashed into the building. 12 20 this afternoon during the lunch hour. Claremont police say a jeep sped through opera house square, the middle of downtown, struck another vehicle, and into a concrete post, sending it into the building.
