The last caller had a lot of concerns about sources he can trust about voting security and one of the things he said is why cant republicans get their stuff together . What would you say to that collar . Caller . Guest when i spoke to a group of my district they asked me about sources of news as well. I dont think he is out there by himself i think that is a common thread. I get asked that question a lot and i give them a plethora of other things i look at. Why cant republicans get their act together . I agreed that republicans dont have their act together but the democrats are neither. That is part of our problem. Part of the thing that drives me crazy is republicans run, and a lot of democrats around in my home state democrats run on a republican platform. But they dont adhere to the platform and that drives

So, our next steps, again for the suite of strategies, the incentive grants and mandatory requirements. We are finalizing an implementation plan. We are coordinating with departments on an ongoing basis. We have begun Community Outreach but we will that, especially when our grant modifications are approved. Those immediate grant improvements that we are trying to do in the coming months are increase our program funding, which was actually done a couple of weeks ago. Our commission is funding pieces. This is part of an independent project that i am doing thats called saving slave houses, which is a data base of all the known slave houses in the united states. Its to act as a Central Depository of information and documentation of slave houses in the united states. And i have partnered with trimble which is the company that makes the survey equipment that i use to do kind of the highest level of documentation that is available to us today which is 3d laser scanning. Important to do this because, one, documentation is a type of preservation. You know, slave houses are buildings that are disappearing from the landscape. And so by documenting them, thats one way of preserving them. Documenting them and through my data base is also a way to share information and get it out there and learn from them. This is a
Since the 1930s to honor the life and legacy of Abraham Lincoln. And this year we have a special opportunity to hear from an extraordinary speaker. And in introducing him i would like to repeat something that he said at the First National Republican Convention that he attended as a young man in 1884. He was part of a reform wing of the Republican Party, and they had an insurgent candidate to be temporary chair of the convention, taking on the candidacy of the Republican National committee.
