Drilling. Now we will go live to the house floor here and cspan. Guest pleased to be here. Host you are here to talk about the Electoral College. The election wrapped up over a month ago. Why are we talking about the Electoral College and what happens today . Guest this is the next step in the election. The Electoral College is not a place but a process. Today is the process where the electors get together in each state, and they go through a complex process. But it is generally managed by the secretary of state or some other officials, and they give their votes for the electors in that state for a particular president. President obama has 332 Electoral College votes and romney has 206. So in the states where romney won, those electors will vote for him. And in the next step is for them to send it to six different places in washington, d. C. , but the main thing is they send a record of this to the senate. The senate than tallies them, puts them in two mahogany boxes. One box and they

We disagree maybe on 20 . Lets just focus on the 80 that we agree on. And well set the other 20 aside until another day. And today i think were going to focus on the 80 that we can agree on. Huntsville, texas. There is not, however, something called the huntsville unit hospital in huntsville, texas, although sometimes the state of texas lies and says there is. According to a lawsuit filed this past fall, texas sent a purchase order to a Company Called Pharmacy Innovations to try to buy a number of drugs that the state of texas wanted to use to inject into prisoners to kill them. On the purchase order to this pharmacy, they said the entity that was requesting the drugs was the huntsville unit hospital. Which sounds nice, right . Except what they mean is, the texas state penitentiary at huntsville, also sometimes known as the huntsville unit, which is not a hospital. The prison had a hospital long ago apparently but that hospital has not existed since Something Like 1983. When the pharmacy found out where they had really sent their drugs in response to this purchase order, when they found out it wasnt to a hospital and what it meant about how these drugs were going to be use
