Hurricane force winds snapped trees and destroyed the side of boat house at a marina in smyrna. pipe 1 11 48 00 all over the state debris littered streets. In jacksonville, huge waves crashed ashore. Officials are worried matthews storm surge could cause major flooding in low lying areas along the saint johns river. River. On top of those winds, the storm surge is going to be significant. 10 feet plus waves. Waves. The governor is expected to tour some of the damage today from this widespread and powerful storm. [applause] the city of owns and operates 4 brick and mortar culturalsenter buildings, all of which provide Affordable Access to high quality arts and culture in communities across the city. Built in 1888, the bayview opera house played an incredible role in the ist history of the bayview and beloved by all of us.
