"Primary containment lines have been identified around the Black Bear Fire," the U.S. Forest Service—National Forests in North Carolina said in a statement.
The fire began around 9 a.m. Thursday in Haywood County on I-40 at mile marker 3 near the tunnel after a tractor-trailer overturned in the westbound lanes near the Tennessee border.
