Around 400 departures and landings of the 730 or so flights normally operated by all airlines were affected, the airport announced. Passengers on cancelled Lufthansa flights will not be able to get to the airport during the strike by ground staff planned for Wednesday, the German airline said. "Due to the strike, the rebooking counters are unfortunately not staffed," the airline wrote on its website. Free rebooking options are available via lufthansa.com, the customer app and the service centre, it said.
