Marks and Exam Duration
For Online Exam (General Awareness, Verbal Ability in English, Numerical Ability and Reasoning and Military Aptitude Test)
300 marks (2 hours)
150 marks (45 minutes)
AFCAT 1/2021 Exam will be held in two shifts, from 9:45 pm to 11:45 pm and from 2:15 pm to 04:15 pm. As per the exam rules, candidates should report at the centre at 8 am and 12:30 pm respectively.

Indian Air Force has extended the last date to apply for IAF AFCAT 2021 till January 11, 2021. Candidates who still have not applied for the examination can apply online through the official site of AFCAT on
afcat.cdac.in. The revised vacancies list has also been released by the Indian Air Force.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Saturday said India s handling of the border standoff with China showed that the country was not weak and could give a befitting reply to any kind of transgression, aggression or unilateral acts. With the two countries having held several rounds of talks to resolve the issue, Singh said India wants peaceful resolution of disputes, but asserted no harm to its self- respect will be tolerated.

Hyderabad: 21 women among 114 flight cadets inducted into IAF
Hyderabad, Dec 19 (UNI) It was a moment of pride for 114 cadets including 21 women, who graduated out of Air Force Academy (AFA), Dundigal near here on Saturday.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh reviewed the combined graduation parade and formally inducted the cadets into the mainstream.
The cadets who were inducted into IAF belonged to pilot and Ground duty branches at AFA.
