things i would be asking emergency response taken by ground air controllers from malaysia, from vietnam. how did they what were the actions they took next when they realized the aircraft had disappeared. so if the ground team knows at a certain appoint they are going to lose some information from the transponder, that information should be picked up by somebody else. is it passed off the responsibility to at least check if that transponder is working to another ground team? it s a good question, on long flights across the atlantic no one hand it off, there s a synthetic picture used from the aircraft. it s switched off. not going to have that synthetic picture. a number of aircraft traveling along the corridor. they are traveling in a fairly benign way. the issue i ve got, as soon as these guys, the ground controllers know that the aircraft has dropped off the radar, they would form a distress cell. the distress cell has the ability to try and contact that airplane malaysian 370
