Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Trailer Reveals Best Look Yet at New Zombies Map
Treyarch Studios and Activision released a new
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War trailer for the Firebase Z map to give us out best new look at the Zombies battlefield that’s releasing next week. Perk dispensers, mechanisms that rocket players across the map, superpowered zombies, and of course some story implications for the ongoing Dark Aether narrative can all be seen in the map’s first trailer.
Black Ops Cold War players will be able to experience all this themselves next week when Firebase Z releases on February 4th as part of a new Season One update.
Black Ops Cold War: Firebase Z Zombies map release date and mid-season update roadmap
Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War and Warzone both received an update yesterday. This update has nerfed the DMR 14 for the second time in a week for the battle royale experience, meanwhile it has also added a new mode named Dropkick to the newest Call of Duty game. However, there’s plenty more to come, and here you’ll find the release date for the Firebase Z Zombies map, and you’ll also find the entire roadmap for the mid-season update.
In addition to the DMR having been nerfed, more good news for the Warzone community is that the unlimited stim glitch has also been patched out. This is good news as the stim glitch was making the game neigh unplayable because of how it easy it was for cheaters to win without needing to kill anyone by staying in areas full of gas.
Firebase Z will be launching in early February and will be the next major free update for Cold War Zombies.
A message from Treyarch teases: “With the site of “Projekt Endstation” destroyed after investigating the Dark Aether anomaly in Poland, the Requiem response team led by Grigori Weaver now turns its attention to the latest outbreak site, codenamed “Firebase Z.”
“The next chapter in Black Ops Cold War Zombies begins on February 4 as Season One continues.”
More news regarding Firebase Z will be announced on January 15, and will likely include a full trailer for gamers to watch.
