TALLADEGA COUNTY A Talladega teen has been killed in a car accident that took place on Sunday night.
Police say the single-vehicle crash occurred at approximately 10:20 p.m. on Griffitt Bend Road, seven miles west of Talladega.
According to a report from the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), an 18-year-old was fatally injured when the 2005 Chevrolet Express Van he was driving left the roadway and struck a tree. The victim has not been identified. He was pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
