The Hatchets improved to 5-1 overall and 4-1 in conference play. The Patriots are now 1-5 overall and 1-4 in the Greater Thumb Conference. Bad Axe’s Noah Kervin opened the game with back-to-back three-pointers – hitting a total of four on the night – on his way to a 17-point performance. Senior Jensen Emerick led all scorers with 19, and Aaron Sowles finished with 16. DeCarlos Sageman scored 10, Ben Nugent chipped in 2, and Griffin Meinhold had 1.
