Institute and associate professor lock horns over pending salary

A former associate professor of
Siddhant Institute of Business and Management, Talegaon,
Dr Smita Kumbhar, has been running pillar to post for her salary which she claims the institute owes her. Kumbhar joined the institute in April 2017 and worked there till August 2019, during which she has only been paid three to four times, she claimed.

Grievance Committee in 2019, which passed an order in her favour in October 2020. In this order the grievance committee asked the institute to pay all the money they owe Kumbhar within a period of 60 days. However, Kumbhar is yet to receive the money.
