Greylock Insurance Agency announces six promotions PITTSFIELD, MA (May 18, 2021) Greylock Insurance Agency (GIA) has promoted six employees within the agency: Lori Goodell, Jay Marion, Julie Dieterich, Mary Benjamin, Nicole Sage and Hailey Lareau. Michael Stoddard, Greylock Federal Credit Union’s Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer announced the promotions Friday morning. Stoddard serves as the President of Greylock Financial and Insurance Services, LLC (which is a credit union service organization under Greylock Federal Credit Union) that operates Greylock Insurance Agency. Goodell has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Agency Manager. She will oversee all agency matters and will report directly to Stoddard. She joined GIA in March 2005 as an Insurance Services Officer. Goodell was promoted to Assistant Vice President, Sales Manager in 2009 and then to Vice President, Personal Lines in 2016.

Greylock Federal Credit Union to merge with Credit Union of the Berkshires

PITTSFIELD — Greylock Federal Credit Union and Credit Union of the Berkshires, two of Berkshire County’s oldest such financial establishments, have reached an agreement to merge, their CEOs said Monday. The merger is subject to the approval of the Credit Union of the Berkshires’ 2,000 members, and three regulatory agencies: the National Credit Union Administration, the Massachusetts Division of Banks and the Massachusetts Credit Union Share Insurance Corp. The NCUA is the national regulatory agency for credit unions. The merger is expected to be completed in late fall. Pittsfield-based Greylock, the county’s largest credit union, has $1.4 billion in assets and is wholly owned by its 90,406 members. Credit Union of the Berkshires, which would become part of Greylock after the merger is finalized, has nearly $23 million in assets and is the second-largest credit union in Pittsfield.
