Victorian greyhound trainers are prepared to take industrial action for a second time after talks this week with
Greyhound Racing Victoria failed to reach agreement on key issues.
Representatives from the
Breeders Association (GOTBA) met on Tuesday with Greyhound Racing Victoria.
The impasse between the constituents and the governing body remained unresolved and GOTBA’s subsequent message to members was stark.
In a Facebook post, GOTBA said members “will need to be ready for further action” and said no resolutions were reached.
The association went public a week ago with a number of gripes, including the treatment of participants by GRV inspectors, prizemoney levels, track safety, general GRV expenditure and drug thresholds.
