Leaders of the Detroit Lakes Public Library are looking toward the future, with the help of a recently-completed Community Needs Assessment. The 38-page report will serve as a blueprint for prioritizing future facility improvement projects, technology upgrades and programming innovations. First up? The formation of a 12-member Library Facilities Advisory Committee.
The awards honor and celebrate seven people, businesses, organizations or groups that made a big impact in the community in 2020. Recipients this year include: Terry Kalil, Greta Guck and the entire Detroit Lakes Public Library team, SJE, La Barista, Kristin Bausman, Amy Erickson and Bruce Imholte.
