The cool spring has delayed planting for some commodity farmers, some getting ready to harvest their spring crops, according to McHenry County growers.
McHenry County College in Crystal Lake is partnering with Northern Illinois University to allow students and locals in McHenry County to complete bachelor’s degree-level coursework in a variety of areas, officials said.
With help from the Bremer Group and Dawn Bremer, the McHenry Outdoor Theater is renovating its concession stand for the first time in 76 years, said owner Scott Dehn.
