Yes, recurring character DSU Ian Buckells (played by Nigel Boyle) was at last unmasked as the corrupt cop pulling strings on behalf of organised crime. Once erroneously code-named H, latterly known as the Fourth Man and now forever associated with baffled cries of: “What the… Buckells? Are you sure? Yes but Buckells, though? Mother of God!”

While some fans found the big reveal to be an anti-climax, for actor Nigel Boyle, who played DSU Ian Buckells (aka H), filming the interrogation scene was a bucket list moment. It was amazing to read the scripts and see the interrogation scenes, he said. It had always been on my bucket list to do them and to find out I had two of them was great!
