Mark Karpeles: Class Action Lawsuit Not Favorable for Creditors

Mark Karpeles, the former CEO of the bankrupt Mt. Gox bitcoin exchange, has filed a supplement in opposition to a class certification lawsuit brought before the U.S District Court by the exchange’s creditors.

The supplement that is one of two goes on to list reasons why a class-action lawsuit will not be in the complainant’s interest. According to the legal representative of Karpeles, a refund plan was already in place through the draft rehabilitation plan.
The rehabilitation plan, as stated out in a draft that has Nobuaki Kobayashi, Attorney-at-law, as a witness, will see Mt. Gox’s creditors paid back through Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, and Yen based on the current market valuation.

Someone killed at least four children in Oakland County, Mich. between 1976 and 1977.
Investigators have been working for decades to determine who the serial killer is and if he is still alive. Those who knew the victims their families, friends, classmates, teachers, coaches and neighbors have been forever changed by what happened during the 13-month period from February 1976 to March 1977. In that time, the four children were abducted and murdered with their bodies left in various locations within or just outside Oakland County.
There were at least two other murder cases that investigators believe may have been victims of the “Oakland County Child Killer” or “The Babysitter Killer,” as some called him.

Mt. Gox Investors Urge Ill. Judge To Certify $400M Fraud Class
