Brayshon Negale Cummings was sentenced by a federal judge in Waco on Feb. 3 after he was arrested May 4, 2020 by the U.S. Marshals Service Lone Star Fugitive Task Force, Waco police and the McLennan County Sheriff s Department. Cummings pleaded guilty to a felon-in-possession charge on Sept. 15, according to the release.

On July 21, 2016, Luther Otis Foster IV was 41 when he threatened to shoot agents who were searching his home in the Lakehills community. The agents shot Foster, who was treated at University Hospital. Agents then recovered more than 100 marijuana plants and discarded stalks at his home. In November 2018, he pleaded guilty to one count of possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime and four counts of assaulting a federal officer with a dangerous weapon, according to the Department of Justice Western District of Texas.
