my argument there is no fifth amendment because you are not incriminating yourself. gregg: wait a minute. under age drug use is according to the superintendent not a punishable offense, he is incorrect? incorrect but there is no time, place or occurrence. i did drugs on such and such a date and such and such place. you have to understand, they haven t told the students what their overall goal for the surveys are. these students are checking off a box and i m going to be be honest. the school now knows, little tom jones has done drugs and giving it to other students. is it being sold in our hallways. they don t know what they are going to do with this information. gregg: its societal purpose. does this public school have in asking such intrusive questions. i m a parent of two teenagers. they go to public schools.
i would downright angry if they asked my daughters. you could advise your daughters not to answer the survivors. we have a drug and alcohol epidemic in society. they are trying to get involved and discourage it. gregg: is this within the purview of parents and not schools? absolutely. they need to work together. parents, schools, there always be the parents and they are start and schools to maintain, look forewarning signs. resources they have in the schools to help identify the students that need help. gregg: and 4,000 people have signed a petition, it looks like to me the school board and superintendent may be at risk and not the teacher. my argument is not they right decision, my argument is they had the right to make the decision. gregg: what about f other teachers were doing the same thing?
