Augusta has announced that City Manager Josh Shaw has made a conditional offer of employment to Todd Ackerman for the position of Director of Public Safety.
From Nov. 20 through 29, officers conducted 19 speeding citations, along with 66 other citations and arrests. All told, officers made 78 enforcement stops during the campaign.
The meeting began with its introduction of the new city commissioners, Mayor, and vice mayor. The commissioners were voted upon in the Butler County election on Nov. 2.
