Re: Time for all to stand up to anti-Asian hatred, Opinion, April 10
I applaud The Calgary Herald for publishing David Wright’s excellent, important and timely article. I unequivocally support his strong position on our responsibility to stop all hatred, especially the current vile treatment of our Asian community.
Before leaving our mother’s womb, we’re not given a checklist to make life choices including our gender, nationality, intellect, physical appearance etc. We play the hand we’re given and hope the game of life is reasonably fair. The world would be a bleak place if all natural things were the same every tree, every flower, every animal, every season and especially every human being. Diversity in any category is what makes life so rich.
