The No. 18 Providence College men’s hockey team skated to a 0-0 draw against No. 8 UMass on Friday afternoon (Jan. 22) in the first game of a home-and-home game at Mullins Center. The Friars claimed the extra point in the Hockey East standings with a 1-0 win in the shootout.

– Michael Callahan wired an attempt over the blocker of Harmon to put Providence in front and Bryce Misley’s attempt to tie things up went wide as the Friars claimed the extra point in the standings.
